Church of England Diocese of Truro Menheniot

Arrangements in lockdown

9 Jan 2021, 8:30 a.m.

Unfortunately, both churches in the parish will remain closed as a result of the Government's decision to reinstate lockdown due to the rapid spread of Covid. The PCC decided the churches should close because the Government has asked that we all try to minimise the risk of spreading the virus. It was felt that opening for either services or private prayer would increase the risk of the spread of Covid, however small that increased risk was. This decision will be reviewed as and when circumstances develop.

However, although the church buildings may be closed, the Church, as represented by its members, remains available to support people wherever it is possible. Contact details are available on this website.
