 kness' or 'shadows'. It is a solemn service\, reflecting on the events of 
 Holy week through readings\, psalms\, music and silence\, and sharing in H
 oly Communion. Our service will include the stripping of the altar and the
  gradual extinguishing of candles until only a single candle\, considered 
 a symbol of Our Lord\, remains\, symbolising the triumph of good over evil
