Saturday 13th October 2018 saw the installation of the Via Beata Kirkley Waystation. The sculpture sits in the Rectory Retreat Garden adjacent to the church. A beautiful structure constructed on Oak and African Black wood, the piece faces South. It depicts a group of folk (cast in Portland Stone, looking out through the gilded hole. As the sun shines through the hole so the gilding is reflected in their faces. The words on the sculpture are taken from the end of Revelations and speak of what has been achieved in this place. Why not come and take a look?
