DESCRIPTION:At the beginning of November each year\, the Church observes A
 ll Souls’ Day to give thanks to God for the lives of those we love but n
 ow rest in God.\n \nEveryone is warmly invited to a Thanksgiving and Remem
 bering Service on Sunday 2nd November at 4pm in the church\, followed by l
 ight refreshments for anyone who wishes to stay.\n \nIt is an opportunity 
 to pause and give thanks for the lives of those we love but no longer see\
 , and to rest for a while in God’s promise of His unfailing love for eac
 h and every one of us.\n \nDuring the service we will read out the names o
 f all those whose funerals or interments of ashes were held at the church 
 or by one of the St. Faith’s clergy team at Mintlyn Crematorium as well 
 as any names of loved ones we are given before the service. We will also h
 ave hymns\, readings and prayers as well as the opportunity to light a can
 dle in memory of your loved one and as a sign of God’s everlasting light
  in our lives.\n \nIt is our hope that the service will be a way for us to
  cherish the memories of loved ones and be a space to come together in dif
 ficult times to offer support to one another.\n \nEveryone is very welcome
  at this service\, so please do come and share in this special time of ref
 lection and celebration.
