The Festival is full of activities: Mon Dec 15th: 'A Christmas Cracker' 7pm concert featuring the Askrigg Hanbells, Mal Carruthers on the organ and Amy Cockett and Rev Dave on vocals. Tues Dec 16th: 4-6pm - Hot Chocolate and Mulled Wine. Wed Dec 17th: 7:30pm Christmas Music with the 'Askrigg Ladies' and guests from East Witton Male Vouce Choir. Thur Dec 18th: 12-2pm Soup Lunch and a pudding. Fri Dec 19th: 6-8pm Walk amongst the trees whilst enjoying festive music on the organ with Mal Carruthers. Sat Dec 20th: 5pm Evening Prayer by Candlelight.

The Askrigg Tree Festival is well known and well received. This year we combine the official switch on with a community Christingle celebration. Arrive from 16:40 onwards to make your Christingle before the event begins.

Come and join our All Age Christmas Communion Celebration for the Upper Dale on Christmas Morning! If you have a small hand bell then you might like to bring it along with you for our festive Yorkshire rendition of 'While Shepherds Watched' - Hardraw Church. Level path and parking down the main street.
