DESCRIPTION:The renowned 19th Century church leader\, CH Spurgeon\, once d
 escibed prayer as ‘the engine room of the church’\, helping us connect
  with the presence and power of God. Therefore we are starting what\, for 
 want of a better name at the moment\, we are calling the Parish Prayer Mee
 ting. These meeting will last for about an hour\, and will have a specific
  theme linked to the time of the year. So\, for example\, the 1st one\, on
  Monday 2nd June\, will have a Pentecost Theme and we will be invited the 
 Holy Spirit to come afresh and empower us for the mission and ministry God
  as called us to do.\n\nThe dates for the rest of the year are as follows:
