 Morning Prayer\, enriched with the Litany and the Commination. This is a q
 uiet\, reflective service that invites us to pause\, take stock\, and plac
 e ourselves honestly before God at the start of the Lenten journey. Throug
 h familiar prayers\, Scripture\, and the gentle rhythm of the Church’s a
 ncient worship\, we are reminded both of our need for repentance and of Go
 d’s deep and patient mercy. Whether these words are well known to you or
  new\, you are warmly invited to come\, listen\, pray\, and allow God to m
 eet you as we set out together towards Easter.\nWe use the traditional Ang
 lican liturgy taken from the Book of Common Prayer\, which was first publi
 shed in the 16th century. While the words are sometimes different\, strang
 e\, even exotic\, they unlock us as we come before God.
