We are trying to establish a "Friends of St Thomas group. St Thomas Church is a Grade II listed building with some beautiful architecture and stain glass windows. We have five war graves and hundreds of fascinating graves. All of this needs substantial upkeep and our small congregation is finding it an overwhelming task. We are therefore reaching out to all local people and those who might have a connection with the church through wedding baptisms funerals etc or may have ancestors buried here. Or indeed anyone who enjoys the beauty and peace of the church. It is our vision to repair and renovate the building and then eventually open it up to the local community.
