Urban Hope

Urban Hope is a relatively young pioneer church formed 7 years ago from scratch in the centre of Coventry and is therefore specifically aimed at and predominately made up of people without previous church experience or background,

It is nothing like a ‘normal’ Anglican church! Our gatherings usually include a meal, with an emphasis on hospitality, community and Bible-based discussion and there’s lots of time spent together in prayer, and socially. Obviously in these current times we cannot meet in the same way but we are meeting via Facebook at our usual time of 11.30am

Take a look at 'Our Story' on our website to get a fully picture of who we are.

Urban Hope is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Coffee Tots, 11 City Arcade, Coventry

We meet in Coffeetots, The City Arcade, Coventry at 11:30am with refreshments. We meet together to share news and prayers. In the middle part, the adults and children split off for different reflections, activities, and engagements to help us meet with God and hear in different ways what he is saying to us today. We share communion together every third Sunday. At 12:30 we meet back together at Coffeetots to eat together and encourage each other.
