  death of John Dowland\, one of Elizabethan England’s best-loved and end
 uring composers.\n\nFrancis Bamford (countertenor) and Byung-ook Kim (lute
 ) will present a programme that includes compositions by Dowland and some 
 of his contemporaries as they explore the repertoire of songs of melanchol
