 lar at Westminster Cathedral\, where he plays for a large proportion of th
 e daily Masses and Offices alongside what is widely considered to be one o
 f the finest choirs in the world. Brought up in Bridlington\, East Yorkshi
 re\, Chris began organ lessons as a chorister at Bridlington Priory under 
 the then newly-founded Dr Martin Clarke Young Organ Scholars Trust\, and w
 as educated at Ampleforth College. After leaving school\, Chris spent his 
 gap year as the Organ Scholar at Gloucester Cathedral. From 2019\, Chris w
 as the Junior Organ Scholar at King’s College\, Cambridge under Daniel H
 yde\, accompanying the world-famous choir for their daily pattern of servi
 ces and touring with The King’s Men\, whilst studying for his Music degr
 ee and receiving organ lessons from Margaret Phillips. Chris subsequently 
 took up the Organ Scholarship at Jesus College\, where he performed with t
 he choir for a number of concerts and special services\, including tours a
 round the UK and Paris. After graduating from Cambridge\, Chris spent a ye
 ar at Salisbury Cathedral where he gained his FRCO. Alongside his growing 
 portfolio as a skilled accompanist\, Chris has performed as a recitalist i
 n venues across the UK including York Minster\, Bridlington Priory\, King
 ’s College\, Cambridge and Westminster Cathedral\, and has played for br
 oadcasts on BBC Radio 3. Chris is looking forward to joining the music tea
 m at St Paul’s Cathedral in September 2024.
