  a teacher. As a soloist\, he has performed across the UK\, in Paris\, Mos
 cow and Slovakia. \n\nSamuel studied organ performance at the Royal Colleg
 e of Music with David Graham\, Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin and And
 y Dewar\, before which he completed undergraduate studies at the Royal Nor
 thern College of Music studying with Darius Battiwalla. He was awarded sch
 olarships to both institutions and was previously Organ Scholar of Rochest
 er Cathedral.\n\nThe organ\nThe organ in the Temple church was built in 19
 24 for the Castle of Glen Tanar\, Aberdeenshire\, and installed in 1954 in
  the rebuilt church (following war damage)\, the gift of Lord Glentanar. T
 he organ case was designed by W. E. Godfrey and installed in 1966 and is m
 odelled on drawings of the Temple’s Father Smith organ of 1688\, showing
  the crests of Inner and Middle Temple. The organ was rebuilt in 2013 by H
 arrison and Harrison of Durham and has 66 stops over four manuals.
