DESCRIPTION:A St Joe's Sunday morning service\, at Newton Leys Primary Sch
ool\, continuing our series on Prayer and considering another aspect of th
is important topic for Christians. There'll probably be around 50 or so pe
ople of all different ages and different backgrounds: some who have become
really confident in the Jesus thing and others who are still trying to fi
gure it out. Wherever they're at\, they're incredibly lovely people who ha
ve a habit of making others feel OK to be themselves\, even when they're n
ew.\nThere'll be coffee and some kind of cake or biscuits. That's always a
must for us.\nThere'll be some singing. Not everyone joins in\, some just
watch\; but it's surprising how it seems to make a difference to people.\
nThere'll be a talky bit\, where someone stands at the front and shares so
me thoughts and ideas from the Bible. No one is forced to agree and there'
s often some opportunities to chat it through with others and see if it ma
kes sense or not.\nAnd...we believe there'll be an opportunity to connect
with the God we humbly believe made EVERYTHING. So that's not so bad\, whe
n you think about it.\n10.30am at Newton Leys School this Sunday for about
an hour. \nYOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US...!!
