Edwalton Church Hall available for hire. Tel; 07527 876537 for information.

The Church Hall was originally built in 1964 on land that the Church had acquired on Vicarage Green, Edwalton and it has been used by the Church and the wider Community more or less on a continuous basis ever since. The prefabricated building was assumed to have a life of 25 years to 1989; it has outlived that time by nearly 30 years due to the diligent care and attention of the successive caretakers and volunteers, a major refurbishment in 2003 and significant repaint and maintenance throughout September and October 2018.

The Church Hall is not located adjacent to the Church but is situated a short distance away, on Vicarage Green and has a post code NG12 4AP, and is available for hire for various functions for up to around 200 people, with music up to 11.00 pm.

The facilities consist of a stage and curtains; a kitchen with hot and cold water, crockery and cutlery, toilets, a smaller meeting room/changing room, and tables and chairs. The Church Hall is heated. Limited car parking on site is available.

Alcoholic drinks may be consumed on the premises but not sold in any way unless a licence is obtained at the users expense.

The regular weekly users of the Church Hall include the Boys’ Brigade with Girls' Association, Brownies, Rattle and Roll, Dancing Digits, Leonard School of Dance (Ballet); various adult groups such as  Zumba, and dance fit classes are held regularly throughout the year.

Further information on bookings can be obtained from the Church Office Administrator by visiting the office or by letter, telephone or e-mail.

An internal view can be seen in our Gallery.
