This service will be held on the first Sunday of every month. It begins our day of worship and is held in the choir stalls at Holy Trinity. Using the 1662 prayer book communion service first written by Thomas Cranmer in 1548, this quiet service lasts between 30 and 35 minutes. A short homily of 5 minutes explores the scriptures used for the day. We have printed a new service booklet that allows those unfamiliar with this pattern of service to easily follow and take part. All are welcome to experience worship that has been held in this way (with only minor revision in 1662!!) for well over 450 years.

This will be a service of intergenerational worship that includes more modern worship songs, (led by the band) discussion, innovative ways of sharing prayer, learning from each other and celebrating what God is doing in our lives. It's interactive and relational and will involve sharing refreshments. It will be like the Café Church service we used to have at 10.30am but developed further to engage more fully with our faith. This service will last approximately an hour and will run during term time.

We have a service of worship with Holy Communion every Sunday morning at 10.00am and all are welcome. We are still taking a cautious approach but the freedom is there for individuals to choose where they sit and whether to wear a mask or not. We encourage the wearing of masks while we sing.
