DESCRIPTION:Christopher and Martin plan to perform a varied programme of m
 usic for a summer afternoon featuring Vaughn Williams\, Flanders and Swann
 \, Butterworth\, Shropshire Lad and Samuel Barber.\n\nOrganist/accompanies
 t\, Martin Ford is the Organist & Director of Music\, of the Royal Militar
 y Chapel (The Guards' Chapel) in Westminister\, and a Professor of Organ a
 t the Royal College of Music.  He has held the positions of Assistant Orga
 nist at St Martin-in-the-Fields and Westminster Abbey\, and Acting Sub-Org
 anist of Christ Church Cathedral\, Oxford and St Paul’s Cathedral. Parti
 cular highlights include playing for the service of celebration marking th
 e 60th anniversary of the coronation at Westminster Abbey\, attended by He
 r Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and broadcast live on television. At St 
 Paul’s Cathedral\, Martin appeared in the 2024 ‘Celebrity’ Recital S
 eries\, and in 2022 he performed Olivier Messiaen’s masterpiece\, La Nat
 ivité du Seigneur. His discography includes releases on the Harmonia Mund
 i and Naxos labels. Notable recent releases include Vaughan Williams’ Fi
 ve Mystical Songs and Finzi’s In terra pax with baritone soloist Roderic
 k Williams.\n\nSinging is Christopher Webb\, a Vicar Choral at St Pauls an
 d he also sings all over the UK\, Europe\, USA and Canada with a variety o
 f groups.  The Monteverdi Choir\, the Marian Consort and the Dunedin Conso
 rt.  Christopher grew up in Milton Keynes and sang at Cornerstone for many
  years.  He was a founder member of the MK Youth Choir and often performed
  in the MK Music Festival.\n\nRefreshements available.\n\nRaising funds fo
