Sunday 31st October, All Hallows Eve, the traditional name for Halloween.
In the Christian calendar this name marks the evening before All Hallows Day or All Saints Day. The festival marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the ‘dark half’ of the year. The Church does not celebrate Halloween but wants to be a light on what is now a dark night for so many people in the world. We want to shine the light of Jesus by building on conversations and offering an alternative way of spending the evening.

We will be offering pumpkins to carve, before the evening, no scary faces please! Prizes for the friendliest and most creative! and in return please join us on for crafts and all things shiny!
Hot dogs too!

Hoby: All Saints

We warmly welcome you to All Saints Church, Hoby.  The Church is open every day for private prayer. We are passionate about sharing the gospel but also looking at new ways of being Christians together. Our services will be posted on here, some are a traditional  and others are completely different. We are navigating new lands in this ever changing landscape and seeking to discover God in hidden places. We are an inclusive church who seeks to love thy neighbour and see face of Christ in all whom we meet.
Please do get in touch if you would like more information or do come along to one of our gatherings. We would love to see you!  We pride ourselves on being an Inclusive Church whilst recognising our shortfalls which we hope that you can help us with. We want everyone who comes to feel welcomed and cared for.

We take our Safeguarding really seriously. If you have any questions or require help please do get in touch with us.

"The parish of Upper Wreake Parish is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
