Children's Worship - (14) Jesus' Ascension

Good Morning once again Families,

We hope you are all remaining well and have had a good week.

I have attached this week's 'Home Grown Faith' for families. There are lots of activities to pick and choose from to suit the different ages and likes of your family, and the pdf includes live hyperlinks to youtube and the web if you just click on where it is underlined in blue. This week looks at the start of Acts where Jesus ascends to heaven and sends his disciples (and us) out to share the gospel with everyone far and wide.

Our task isn't yet complete but when you watch the recordings of 'The Blessing', it is amazing and so uplifting to see believers and worshippers singing a blessing over the whole world in this time of crisis. Even after numerous replays, it still gives me goosepimples! There are many versions, but here are my favourites:

The UK version: <span style="font-size: 1rem;"></span>

The Symphonic Version:

The Worldwide version:

Kids version:

Our God reigns, and reigns over the earth, far and wide! I just love seeing Christians worshipping across the world, and seeing beyond our 'bubble' that God is even bigger than we can imagine.

I have also like to tell you about IRIS (A domestic abuse support service in Walsall), which I hope and pray is something that none of you may ever need, but should you do so, then please go to our menu and find "Domestic Abuse".  When you get there follow the links to find information about where and how to seek help, and especially during Lockdown where usual routes to help may be blocked.

We hope you can have a good rest of the day and week ahead.

Much love to you all,
