 ide & Stride’ event\, which raises money for those of the county's histo
 ric churches which are in need of repair.\n\nRide + Stride for Churches: M
 anaged by the National Churches Trust and local historic churches trusts\,
  this is the premier national annual sponsored event held every September.
  Volunteers bike\, walk\, or horseback-ride along custom church trails to 
 raise sponsorship funds that directly maintain historic church buildings.
