St Mary’s Harvest Festival will be celebrated in Sunday 3rd October at 10.15. Everyone welcome as we give thanks for God’s goodness in creation, and for those who work hard to supply our food. As last year, we are asking for gifts to support our local foodbank (Oswestry and Borders). The following items are those most needed:
Milk Ketchup, Mayo, Brown Sauce and other sauces, Rice pudding, Custard, Squash, Fruit Juice, Tinned fruit, Tinned vegetables: Peas and Carrots, Potatoes, Instant Mash, Tinned meat - Hot and Cold, Hot Chocolate, Biscuits, Porridge, Tinned pasta / spaghetti / macaroni cheese, Coffee, small and large jars, Toiletries - Deodorant, Shampoo, Shower Gel, Toothpaste, Nappies size 4, 5 & 6, Sanitary products.
If for any reason you are unable to come to the service, gifts can be left outside the vicarage door over the harvest weekend.
