DESCRIPTION:Visitors are invited to take a tour of the village using a Sca
 recrow map\, to see the many and varied scarecrows adorning their front la
 wns\, village green and church.  From the humorous to the traditional\, th
 e event is a must-see village-wide celebration.  Refreshments are on offer
  in the church\, 1-4pm on Saturday and 2-4pm on Sunday\, with the winners 
 of the Scarecrow Competition announced at 4pm when the Rev'd Lucinda Wray-
 Wear will bless the scarecrows.  There will also be a family scarecrow-the
 med service on Sunday 14th at 11.15am.  All are welcome to join in the fun
 .  Proceeds go towards the Access for All project at Christ Church Hilders
 tone.
