October is Black History Month. It is about celebrating the contributions and achievements of Black people in our community, bringing communities together and encouraging younger generations.
Black History Month has been in the national (and global) calendar for many years, now we are celebrating it with events at Holy Trinity.
On Saturday 23rd October from 12 to 4pm we have a special event in the church hall. Food will be shared between 12 and 1pm (see list at the back of church to sign up what you can bring), followed by inspiring speakers. Everyone of all ages is welcome.
Then on Sunday 24th October The Revd Cassius Francis is our guest speaker at both the 9.30am and 11.15am services on the theme 'Why we still need to talk about race'.
The full programme is attached to this page for download.
These events are for everyone - please come along if you can and support one another.
