All this said life here in Longton is changed not ended we will I hope all come together really soon and look back at what we have lived through and give thanks to God for all that he promises in the future.

Let us endeavour that no matter what St Mary & St Chad will remain a shining beacon of Light in what is for so many at this time is a dark and difficult world.

For now let us Pray

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;

thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever and ever.    Amen.

And now may

The Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make his face to shine upon you And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up his countenance upon you And give you peace.

And May the blessing of God The Father The Son and the Holy Spirit

Be with you and remain with You now and always Amen
