Church of England Diocese of Lichfield St. Thomas, Mow Cop

Coronavirus news

14 Mar 2021, 2 p.m.

Sadly, due to the increasing spread of Coronavirus we find ourselves as a country in lock-down again. The seriousness of our situation in this country means that none of our Sunday services here at St Thomas, Mow Cop will take place until lockdown restrictions are eased.

As a church we are always looking to the wellbeing and safety of both our church members and our visitors. At the moment, being in lock-down means that sadly we are unable to open our church for public worship due to the very high risk of transmission of the virus.
Gradually, it is hoped that we will soon be able to open our church building once again for public worship however we will continue to offer biblical reflections online. Recordings of other services available for you to enjoy each week can be found online, through television and radio.

We will endeavour to let you know once we have begun services again.

We will not be holding a private prayer hour in church over the winter, however the Church of England website has plenty of prayer resources for you to enjoy using.

We will be worshipping God, listening to His Word and praying for the world, this country and our community from the isolation of our own homes - we are one in the Spirit!!
