  will be an opportunity for foot/hand washing as we remember Jesus's Last 
 Supper with his friends. After the communion\, the lights will be dimmed a
 nd the altar and other furnishings will be stripped\, while the choir sing
 s a psalm of lament in the traditional plainsong. We spend time in silence
  remembering the agony and desolation that Jesus experienced in Gethsemane
 \, and the choir leaves "in disarray".
