Church of England Diocese of Lichfield Hamstall Ridware

We have a new Rector!

15 Oct 2020, 2:15 p.m.

The Bishop of Wolverhampton has made the following statement:

"Revd Jeremy Brading, Rector of the benefice of Chickerell with Fleet and Priest-in-Charge of the benefice of Abbotsbury, Langton Herring & Portesham has been appointed to the post of Rector of Kings Bromley, the Ridwares and Yoxall, in the Diocese of Lichfield. He would be grateful for your prayers, and especially your prayers for each of the parishes affected by this news. A consequence of the pandemic, details of Revd Brading’s last Sunday will be confirmed at a later date.”

We are delighted to welcome Revd Jeremy and Mrs Angharad Brading, and their two sons, Ryan and Patrick, and we pray for them all as they prepare to move in the New Year to our United Benefice. Please pray for the villages in which he will serve - whose churches which have only recently (well, for two years!) been working together as one United Benefice.

Watch this space for further news as to the date of the Brading's family arrival!
