RE-OPENING OF CHURCHES:
As you are probably aware, the Government has recently brought forward a gradual lifting of restrictions on places of worship.
What this means for us in the Short Heath Parish, is that from 21st June, Holy Trinity Church will be open every Sunday from 10.00 am to 11.30 am for private individual prayer 🙂.
Holy Trinity will also be open for Funeral Services from Monday 6th July onwards. However, because of social distancing, only a maximum of 40 mourners will be able to be present.
Furzebank Worship Centre will not be re-opening at the moment - we are very conscious of the fact that we share our building with Rosedale School and we need to do all we can to continue to keep the pupils and staff there as safe as possible.
However, whether you belong to Holy Trinity or to Furzebank, everyone is very welcome to come along on a Sunday and to pray for as little or as long as you want. All that we ask is that you observe all the appropriate hygiene and social distancing measures which will be in place.
If you have any questions about the re-opening, please email Revd. Helen: [email protected]
