Church of England Diocese of Lichfield St. Luke, Tittensor

Why the Lunch Club matters in Tittensor

At St Luke's, a team of volunteers supports the monthly Lunch Club.  Free to all, this aims to live out our Christian beliefs in the community, providing an opportunity to come along to the Church Hall and enjoy not only a delicious hot meal and dessert but also to do that in the company of others.

There is no "type of person" who comes to the Lunch Club.  They may be young or old, on their own or with others.  They may have any religion or none and they could belong to any race on the planet (no Martians have yet dined at the Lunch Club, so far as we know, but they would be welcome too!).

Of course, the Lunch Club also offers the opportunity to make and meet friends.  You can come and sit on your own if you wish or join in as much you like; no one is under any pressure and no one is judged.

The Lunch Club starts at noon.  You will be welcome.  There is no charge although any donations would be appreciated.

Keep watch for notices announcing the dates of the Lunch Club.  They will be on this website, Twitter and Facebook.

The attached video does not show St Luke's but describes how others felt moved to begin their "food event" in their community and how much it has meant to them and everyone who attends.  Everything that is said on it chimes with what the Lunch Club's supporters have said.

You don't have to be alone.  Come along once and see if it suits you.  At the very least you'll go away well-fed!
