The bishops of Lichfield Diocese each contributed an online sermon during January. St Luke's used the first in our service in church on 3rd January, showing it on the huge AV screen and via the sound system provided by the legacy of Nancy Long.
Since then we have been in lockdown and in February and March, other ministers have offered their video talks and we have been using them in online services and, afterwards, making them available on these pages.
On 14th March, we listened to Revd Paul Taylor, Archdeacon of Salop, as he gave a deeply thoughtful talk on Mothering Sunday.
Paul had some personal stories to tell and it was great to listen to him speak of the love that Jesus received from his mother and that he gave to her, even on the day of his death on the cross. Paul and and his colleagues are not promoting any political party; their only interest is in interpreting God's love for people and the rest of God's creation.
You can view and listen to Paul here.
