 anthem\, and the psalms set for the day on our behalf\, allowing us to exp
 erience the beauty of the music in this iconic setting. There are some rea
 dings from the Bible\, and prayers are said for the Church\, the World and
  ourselves.\n\nEvensong provides a restful\, peaceful and contemplative ti
 me at the even point of the day\, between the end of the working day and n
 ight-time. \n\nIt is for that reason Evensong is the perfect opportunity t
 o relax after a busy day.
