News and local information from our three villages in our 'new look' NIB. We are really pleased that we are now able to resume delivery of NIB to each household across our three villages. Printed copies will still be available in each of the churches and also in clear boxes situated in each of the villages: Irstead - next to the post box on the wall of Wren Corner; Neatishead - outside Ye Olde Saddlery, at the New Victory Hall and at the King Street crossroads; Barton Turf - inside the old telephone box and in Pennygate.
Even though we are not able to meet up yet at our village groups, there is lots to read in NIB about the wildlife, the history and details about the New Victory Hall reopening.
Easy Fundraising for NIB Churches
As more of us are shopping online we should like to draw your attention to the Easy Fundraising Website on which each of our three churches is registered. It is the UKs biggest charity shopping fundraising website, is simple to use and turns your everyday online shopping into donations for your chosen cause. There are many popular retailers registered with Easy Fundraising, eg John Lewis, Argos, Aviva, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Iceland to name but a few of the 4000 retailers, who give a varying % of each purchase you make to your registered good cause each time you shop. There are no extra hidden costs to the purchaser. In these difficult times, with the lack of services and visitors to our churches any additional income is most welcome. Please do take a look.
Here are the links to each of our churches' pages on the Easy Fundraising website, where you can find more information and details on how to register.
Alternatively detailed instructions on how to register can be found on St Peter's Church website https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/8029/page/58185/view/
