In recent weeks, we have been discussing how we get clues from both Old Testament and New Testament about the Messiah – Jesus coming down to earth as our Saviour.

Today we hear about two people who just knew who He is – two prophets who were guided by the Holy Spirit.

Joseph and Mary take the infant Jesus to present Him to God in the temple.

Simeon and Anna see Him there and proclaim His glory.
