DESCRIPTION:This traditional late-night service offers the first opportuni
 ty in our parish to receive the gift of Holy Communion on Christmas mornin
 g\, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour\, at whose Last 
 Supper he instituted the churches' tradition of breaking bread and sharing
  wine in remembrance of his saving death on a cross and his glorious Resur
 rection and Ascension.\n\nThe Christmas Gospel from the first chapter of J
 ohn's Gospel is read\, in which we are told that Jesus was the same Word\,
  now made flesh\, through whom all creation came into being. We also sing 
 Christmas hymns in praise of the Incarnation.\n\nIf you wish to receive a 
 gluten-free Holy Communion wafer\, please let us know before the service b
 egins.
