A little update from me ahead of my usual Saturday bulletin.....
EASTER GIFT CAMPAIGN
I wanted to let you know that the amount raised for our Easter Gift appeal has totalled just over £6000 through donations made on and offline. The comments left on our Just Giving page and passed on through our treasurers have been a great encouragement to me and the rest of the ministry team. If you haven't seen them the page is well worth a visit, it certainly makes me smile when I am having a low day!

I want to express my thanks to everyone who has given, no matter how large or small that gift may be. Not everyone will have been in a position to make a donation this time and it's important that everyone knows they are welcome to be part of All Saints whatever your financial position. There are lots of ways that people give gifts to build up our common life, finance is important but so too is the time that people give, so a heartfelt thank you from me to you for being part of our church.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
This week we are trialling a different way of having our Sunday services. Instead of a prerecorded service you will be invited to join the service live via Zoom. For some people Zoom is a now a very familiar way of working but for others I'm aware it might be a new experience. So to help as many people access the services as possible both Phillippa Taylor and myself are going to host a Zoom drop in when you can try out the technology and have a go at connecting.
There are two main ways to connect, one is using a video call through a computer, smart phone or tablet but you can also use your normal telephone just to dial in. You wont be able to see anyone but you will be able to hear everything and we will be able to hear you.

I shall be sending my usual Saturday email with church news and with the links for the Sundays services but for now we hope this helps people feel able to access our time together on Sunday.
