Click on the link below and you should find yourself with us. We are all learning as we go along but it is very nice to see lots of faces from our church family even if sometimes we struggle with the technology! We have found that using break out rooms enables us to see lots of people but then be able to have a proper conversation with a small group too. Please contact us if you would like our meeting link to zoom.SUNDAY EVENING WORSHIPWe are going to trial a live stream of Book of Common Prayer Evensong at 6pm tomorrow, go to our Youtube Channel where hopefully you will be able to see Emma and myself leading a simple version of this popular traditional service.CREATIVITYI know lots of people have been usng the lockdown to get creative and there are lots of examples in our Facebook social group of people painting and making things. One member of our church family has taken her creativity outdoors and up to church. If you take your exercise through the Parish Green you will see the handiwork of Rachel Brind-Surch who has painted a beautiful cross that depicts Jesus at the heart of our community. Attached is a picture for you to enjoy but if you are able to safely go for a walk do take a walk through the church grounds and take a look.CONTACT DETAILS AND STAYING IN TOUCHIf you haven't had a phone call from anyone from All Saints this might be becasue we don't have an up to date phone number for you so do please drop me a line so we can make sure we can stay in touch with you. Please email any of the team anytime:curatemark@allsaintsloughborough.org.ukcurateemily@allsaintsloughborough.org.ukmusic@allsaintsloughborough.org.ukrector@allsaintsloughborough.org.ukLots of people have the support of neighbours, friends and family but please feel you can reach out to your church community if you are in need of support in any way. During Holy Week (the week before Easter), follow Jesus on the way to the cross as a family by telling these interactive Bible stories from Jesus’s Last Week together, and discover different ways to mark Good Friday and Easter Day. You may also like to explore the Creative Response suggestions, which provide an opportunity to reflect on the stories through craft and art.NEW STORIES WILL BE RELEASED THROUGHOUT HOLY WEEKPraying together as a family is so important at the moment and children find routine calming when the world is changing around them. These short times of prayers are designed to make family prayer times simple and sustainable. Choose one or two prayers and aim to say them around the same time every day. Bring your cares, feelings, thankfulness, fears, sorries, and prayers together to Jesus.
Dear Friend,I never thought I would have to write these words but I am writing to let you know, what I imagine you have already understood, that the historic parish church of Loughborough is now closed. Like every other organisation, community and family group we must do as we are being asked and do all that we can to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. The church building may have had to temporarily close her doors but the Church, the body of Christ, is alive and well and we intend to keep on supporting one another and our local community. This is the first of our regular email updates during the current crisis, which I hope includes information that you might find helpful. If at any point you would prefer not to receive these emails please contact caroline@allsaintsloughborough.org.uk to opt out.
