The crate to collect your donations is now in its new home on the “Bread” tomb in the north aisle. The tomb belongs to Richard Bigg, who gave money to a trust to provide bread for the poor of the parish in the 1600s; so it seems fitting that we use it as we support those in need today!
Please pick up a “shopping list” of items required from the table by the door. You could perhaps stick this on your fridge door to remind you of things you could add to your shopping basket!
The food donations go to Wokingham Foodbank. A project funded by The Trussell Trust which is a Christian charity. The donated food is sorted for distribution by volunteers........ for more information about them, their work and who supports them, then look at their website: www.wokingham.foodbank.org.uk
