Coronavirus Response

Updated December 2021

PUBLIC WORSHIP, FUNERALS, WEDDINGS AND BAPTISMS ARE PERMITTED TO CONTINUE (INCLUDING SINGING)

WORSHIP AT ST. GEORGE'S:

SUNDAYS 10.30am Parish Eucharist

Please be in touch for pastoral care, and with any enquiries.

Please DO NOT COME TO CHURCH IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS, OR ARE ISOLATING, VULNERABLE, OR MAY HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYONE WITH SYMPTOMS ETC.

Please continue to sanitise your hands on entry and during services. We encourage you to wear a face covering when moving around the building although these are no longer mandatory. You are encouraged to ensure that you are well spaced around the church and not singing directly behind someone else.

The central pews in the nave have returned to full use. The side aisles and pews remain distanced for those who prefer to maintain distance.

Please continue to leave your collection on the plate at the back of the church. The Peace may be shared physically but please share only with those in your household. Alternatively please wave the Peace to those around you. Holy Communion continues to be received standing and using the one-way system still in place in church. You are encouraged to sanitise your hands before receiving, and the Chalice will be available. No Intinction (dipping of wafers) is permitted.

We are praying for all affected by this issue and seeking to do our part in the community response to care for the vulnerable. If you'd rather not make use of the single-use leaflets in church each Sunday, you can download the booklet here and follow it on your device, either in church or at home.

Please contact the churchwardens via the contact page if you know someone in need of support.
