 en thousand individually handmade paper doves which are suspended above th
 e Cathedral’s historic Nave. Each dove contains a message of peace\, lov
 e and hope\, written by local community groups\, schools and members of th
 e public.\nAhead of the exhibition over one hundred schools and community 
 groups from across West Sussex\, as well as the general public\, will writ
 e a messages of peace\, love and hope on their paper dove before being ret
 urned to the Cathedral for the exhibition\, taking place from 30th Septemb
 er - 12th November 2023.\n\nPeace Doves is an artwork that has been re-cur
 ated for different spaces as it tours the UK. Adaptations have been seen i
 n many Cathedrals including Rochester\, Liverpool\, Lichfield\, Derby and 
 Sheffield.\n\nPeace Doves will be supported by a programme of events for p
 eople of all ages\, including weekly story-telling under the Doves for und
 er fives\, silent discos and special evening viewings\, when visitors will
  be able to experience the installation by twilight\, and set to music by 
 Composer David Harper.\n\nAdmission to the Cathedral is free and booking i
