This year the Churches and All Saints School in Sapcote are starting up an initiative called ‘[email protected], Sapcote’.
2020 has been financially challenging for many and some individuals and families are struggling to afford a Christmas dinner and gifts. ‘Hope @ Christmas’ will endeavour to share and show Christ’s love for all by delivering Christmas parcels to those in need in our community. The parcel will contain food and a gift/gifts for the family members. They will be delivered a few days before Christmas. Hinckley Area Food Bank have kindly agreed to donate the food.
A letter has gone out from school asking for nominations of neighbours or families that would benefit from such a parcel. Nominations must be in by Monday 7 December. If you know of anyone /any family in need in the village could you let us know their details?
We just require: their name their address number in the household & age and gender of children ( if any)
This information will be handled with the strictest confidence.
Nominations in writing, need to be in by the end of Monday 7 December to the Rectory, 4 Sharnford Road, Sapcote or to 85 Calver Crescent, Sapcote.
There will also be the need for help with donations of time, gifts & money.
If you want to email information or offer help, the address is '[email protected]'.
Most of all we ask you to pray about this venture and that we reach out to the right people.
After such a difficult year, it would be wonderful to know that everyone in the village felt the warmth of God’s care and provision over Christmas and that their village is supporting them.
