 t are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tap
 e\, decorated with dried fruit or sweets\, with a candle on the top.  Each
  element of a Christingle has a special meaning and helps to tell the Chri
 stian story:\nThe orange represents the world\nThe red ribbon (or tape) sy
 mbolises the love and blood of Christ\nThe sweets and dried fruit represen
 t all of God’s creations\nThe lit candle represents Jesus’s light in t
 he world\, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
