DESCRIPTION:In July\, as part of our “Weaving Stories” project\, funde
 d by the National Lottery Heritage Fund\, we are holding two days of free 
 events which will appeal to crafting groups\, crafters\, general members o
 f the public and families. \n\nIncluded in the activities over the two day
 s will be opportunities to: watch demonstrations by stone carvers and the 
 Bradford Guild of Weavers\, Spinners and Dyers\; try your hand at embroide
 ry and basic weaving\; view our current “Knit the Stripes” and “Wove
 n Lives” exhibitions\; see the Cathedral stitchers in action\, and much 
 much more.\n\nAs well as all these free events there will also be the oppo
 rtunity to learn more about the textiles and other beautifully-crafted tre
 asures of the Cathedral\, by joining one of our ecclesiastical textiles’
  or craft-centred tours of the Cathedral.
