  conductor Matt McKirgan\, and featuring a young chorister from Bradford C
 athedral performing “Walking in the Air”\, The Snowman with live conce
 rt band offers a unique opportunity to relive the wonder of this cinematic
  gem. The second half will be filled with a selection of festive Christmas
  carols and classic Christmas music\, including plenty of opportunities fo
 r audience participation!\n\nWhether you’re looking for a special family
  outing\, a nostalgic trip down memory lane\, or simply a charming way to 
 embrace the Christmas spirit\, this event is perfect for all ages. It’s 
 an ideal festive outing for families\, friends\, and even schools\, design
 ed to charm the entire audience and create cherished memories.\n\nBradford
  Concert Band\n\nBradford Concert Band is a traditional wind band based in
  Baildon\, combining woodwind\, brass and percussion.Founded in 1975\, the
  band is proud to represent Bradford and be part of the wider Bradford Com
 munity.A regular series of concerts are played throughout the year ranging
  from summer afternoon bandstand music in the region’s parks and museums
 \, to carnivals and more formal evening concerts.\n\nIn October 2023 the b
 and were delighted to welcome Matthew McKirgan as Musical Director and are
  excited to see where the next few years will take us.\n\n2025 is the band
 ’s 50th anniversary and coincides with Bradford being the UK City of Cul
 ture. Whilst we’ve already had our 50th Anniversary concert we love you 
 to join us at our future concerts:-Sat 28th March 2026 Joint Concert Hudde
 rsfield Wind Band\, Salendine Nook Baptist Church.\n\nIf you play a brass\
 , woodwind or percussion instrument at Grade 5 or above and are looking to
  join a friendly and enthusiastic band\, then look no further. Come along 
 to a rehearsal as a visitor or potential member and be assured of a warm w
 elcome.\n\nThe band rehearses on Thursday evenings 7:30pm to 9:330pm and S
 unday mornings 10am to 12noon in our band room at Baildon Hall\, Hallfield
