John Willis R.I.P; All of us in the Village were shocked, and very deeply saddened to hearof the recent death of John Willis….John & Lynne moved to Chiltern Meadow in the Village from Gerrards Cross in the mid/late 80’s and since then both John & Lynne have been/were popular, reliable, committed members of the Village Community before moving to Banbury some years ago in order to be nearer their family. Using his journalist skills, John instigated …and for many years edited …The Cadmore End News. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Lynne and her family.

The King’s Coronation; Sunday May 7th; 1.00 pm. Picnic Lunch on the Common by the Church. Please bring your own picnic/Rugs/chairs. Historically these Village picnics have always been very enjoyable “Village occasions”. We hope for dry weather, sunshine and above all for your attendance!

Good Friday Walk. A bright sunny day attracted over 50 Walkers with some familiar faces from the various “Ends”. Led by Dee Barlow they visited the ponds on Cadmore End Common before returning to Cadmore End Village Hall for Hot Cross buns and tea where they were joined by those who had attended the “Service in Church “option.
