DESCRIPTION:Our Holy Communion service is a celebration of the Eucharist\,
  an ancient name (from the Greek word for 'thanksgiving') widely used toda
 y for the service that is otherwise known as the Holy Communion\, the Lord
 's Supper or Mass. The Eucharist is a service in which Christians follow J
 esus' command to his followers\, to share bread and wine in remembrance of
  him. This is a family service where all ages are most welcome. Similar se
 rvices are held in Cropredy on the first Sunday of each month and are usua
 lly led by our Vicar\, the Revd Canon Sarah Fenby. Refreshments are served
  afterwards in the church and everyone is invited to join in and mix socia
 lly.
