The first service, this week, was a gentle, reflective act of worship, which felt just right for the end of the day and was followed by a short discussion on the Scripture passage and reading from our Little Book of Lent. Do share this quiet time with us next week. The order of service (the same each week) and the weekly readings sheet are on the Lent page on the website:

Lent Tuesday Evening Prayer - 7.00pm (via Zoom)

And on the subject of "The Little Book", I have to cheat and look at all the readings for the week to select the one to use for the service - and this week I really struggled to decide which one to choose, they are all so thought-provoking. I do hope you are reading, enjoying, and being challenged by it. If you haven't got one, and you have a kindle, it is available for instant download - and cheaper than a print copy! The Little Book of Lent; Howells; pub: HarperCollins.

Virtual Lent Lunches - the 50p challenge: the first of these was virtually hosted by Meg from Inkpen; we had a lovely chat and compared notes and ideas for making a lunch for less than 50p. The next will be on Friday 5th March, 12:30pm and "hosted" by Patrick from Elcot. Details on website; do think about joining us.
