DESCRIPTION:Join us this Sunday for our Village Act of Remembrance on The 
 Rec at 10:50am\, timed for the RAF helicopter flypast before the National 
 Two Minutes’ Silence at 11:00am. We’ll honour former villagers who gav
 e their lives in both World Wars and remember those lost in subsequent con
 flicts. \nAfterwards\, all are welcome at the church to see wreaths laid o
 n the World War memorials\, enjoy refreshments\, and share stories of serv
 ice and sacrifice of family members\nPlease help with our Remembrance Disp
 lay in church by bringing memorabilia or children’s artwork celebrating 
 family members’ service. We’ll be setting up the display board Saturda
 y 10:00am–12:00pm\, so do bring contributions along then. \nLet’s make
  this a meaningful occasion for the whole village.
