DESCRIPTION:4th July 2026 in the car park and church hall.​\n\nWe are ve
 ry excited that\, for the first time in a long while\, we will be holding 
 a summer fete this year.  The theme for the fete is St. Chad’s 140th Bi
 rthday Party.\n\nThings that will be happening include stalls in the churc
 h\, a party tent with birthday presents\, games in the car park\, entertai
 nment in the hall\, refreshments\, barbecue\, a beer and prosecco tent and
  much more.\n\nThis is a very exciting time for St. Chad’s\, BUT …….
 . We cannot do it without the support of you\, the church family. We need 
 as many people as possible to get on board and help\, whether that be help
 ing get ready and clear up\, run a game in the car park\, help decorate th
 e church\, car park and hall\, bake cakes\, help with the barbecue\, deliv
 er leaflets - the jobs are endless.\n\nWe will be selling stalls in the ch
 urch\, as we did for the Christmas Market\, so if you would like to purcha
 se a stall to sell your goods\, please let the office know.\n\nWe will als
 o need donations of raffle prizes. Here are some suggested donations you c
 an make. All proceeds of the fete will go to church funds for our mission 
 and ministry:\n\nHoldall \nComics for children\nTravel bag \nA good novel 
 and or magazine\nChildren’s Backpack \nPuzzle book and pen\nBeach bag \n
 Kite\nBeach towel/s \nBeach ball\nSun Cream \nSun hats\nPicnic blanket \nP
 icnic set or individual picnic items\nSun Glasses (adult and children)\nAf
 ter Sun \nChildren’s book (young and older)\nToiletry Bag \nToiletries\n
 Colouring book/pencils \nBats and balls\nWater bottles / Flask \nFrisbee\n
 \nPlease bring your donations to the church or the church office. Thank yo
 u. Winners will be announced at the Summer Fete on 4th July.\n\nWe will al
 so need to borrow gazebos and sun umbrellas if anybody can loan any.\n\nPl
 ease show your commitment to St. Chad’s by signing up next time you are 
 in church and pledging some time to help on the day\, the day before to ge
 t ready or after to clear up or to deliver some leaflets\, or any of the o
 ther jobs listed. It will be a real fun day that you won’t want to miss
