As our National Lockdown continues, we have made the difficult decision to suspend our public acts of worship until we feel it is safe to gather once again.  This means that we will no longer have any services on a Sunday or mid week. All our other gatherings have also been suspended.

We had hoped to open the church on a Sunday morning at 9.30 am for people to pop in to say a prayer and light a candle, however this is now also suspended until further notice.  The church is still very much alive and if you want to join in with worship at home, we have services in the week on our Facebook page or have a look on www.churchofengland.org for Daily Prayer or download the app for free.  We shall be uploading prayers on our Face Book page (Greenstead with Colchester St. Anne) and we live stream our services for Sunday, so do follow us there. The church doors may be shut but the Church as the Body of Christ will continue, it will just look different.

So do join in with Daily Prayer, follow #Live Lent all easily found on the Church of England website where you will also find more information on the churches response to the Coronavirus.
