Your Parish Churches in Heybridge and Langford
Thank you for being curious about what God is doing in Heybridge and Langford - you are very welcome to join in our adventure.
Should you need help with getting food and other supplies (including children's needs), prescriptions, pet care or social contact we are working with Maldon CVS to provide that support. Please phone (01621) 851997 between 8am and 8pm any day for advice.
We are meeting online only at the moment - do drop in and watch our services at your convenience.
At the time of typing we have three church buildings, two community rooms and one multi-sensory Fresh Expression meeting in the local school. We are few, but hopeful - seeking healing for those near to us and peace for those far away.
We have seen prayers answered and are waiting eagerly to see what God is calling us to next. It's not perfect; but it might just become something better. Do come along and find out how.

1
St George's Church, Heybridge Basin
Chelmsford
With our excellent Community Room and recent Centenary, St George's provides hospitality and festivity as well as a space for heartfelt worship. We meet weekly for a time of morning prayer or communion, as restrictions permit, and reflect together on God's Goodness in our midst.
When Social Distancing applies, our attendance limit is 16.

2
St Giles Church, Langford
Chelmsford
A small, rural parish church, where Matins and introits are still part of our regular worship. Our choir give added heart to our Sunday morning worship and, in the summer months, the doors remain open to allow the sounds of the countryside in. Do come and visit our small, yet committed, congregation.
Our attendance limit is 19.

Saint Lucy's Multi-Sensory Church
Chelmsford
St Lucy's is a growing Christian community that is especially accessible to those with additional needs. Our adventure started in June 2019, since when we have met for worship and fellowship monthly. We use Godly Play to explore scripture together plus a variety of multi-sensory methods for prayer and praise. It is fair to say that we have a lot of fun, whilst holding onto God, together.

St Andrew's Church, Heybridge
Chelmsford
St Andrew's is a still point, in a turning world. In praying for and serving our growing parish, our faithful congregation steadfastly serve both neighbours and strangers alike. Our times of breaking bread and wine are reverent and unadorned; our times of morning praise more bespoke and unkempt. Heartfelt and uplifting, each in their turn.
When Social Distancing, our attendance limit is 39.
