 Winter is cold and dark\, and there’s nothing like a Christingle service
  – sticky fingers included!\nChristingles are oranges tied with a red ri
 bbon\, decorated with four cocktail sticks containing sweets or dried frui
 t and topped with a candle. Each of these represent a different thing:\n\n
 The orange represents the world.\nThe ribbon represents the love and blood
  of Christ.\nThe sweets/dried fruit represent all of God’s creation.\nTh
 e lit candle shows Jesus is the light of the world\, bringing hope to peop
 le living in darkness.\nDuring the service we build our Christingles and l
 earn of the light of Jesus.
